In SP Takegawa, about 3.0 times increase compared with stock is adopted to make the amount of oil pumped to each part of the engine, oil pressure, and the oil level of each part proper.
By circulating the appropriate amount of oil, the load on the parts of the drive unit is reduced.
In addition, the engine can be cooled more by circulating a large amount of oil to the engine which has increased heat generation by increasing the displacement.
In order to get the best performance out of the oil cooler, it is necessary to install this product at the same time.
A special bolt is used for the oil pump plate fixing bolt to prevent interference with the clutch housing.
The kit is available with or without a tool for machining the orifice of the crankcase.A miniature drill driver (2MM) is included as a tool for machining.
SP Takegawa conducted a 1000km actual driving test using an oil pump on a vehicle equipped with a big bore kit to check the difference in cooling effect on the piston and piston pin.
This demonstrated the improvement of the cooling effect when the SP Takegawa super oil pump was used.(Comparison of the test results below: See image 5)
